How do you keep the music playing?

Alexander L’Estrange’s exquisite version of Michel Legrand’s timeless song How do you keep the music playing? has become one of his best-loved arrangements. It has been performed by The Swingles and, more recently, recorded both by the choir of Trinity College, Cambridge (directed by Stephen Layton) and by the Nonsuch Singers, conducted by Tom Bullard and featuring Joanna Forbes L’Estrange as soloist.  The song appears twice on the L’Estranges in the Night album New things to say, in its multi-layered vocals version (as performed by Joanna below) and in its solo vocal & piano version.
